Plain-language privacy

Useful measurement, with a real choice.

Springfield Cannabis Guide is an informational directory operated by Good Feels, Inc. It does not sell cannabis, process orders, or collect checkout and payment information.

What the site remembers

Session storage remembers a 21+ confirmation only until this browser session ends. The required scg_analytics_consent cookie remembers an allow or decline choice for analytics for 180 days. Age confirmation is never treated as analytics consent.

Analytics is optional

Google Analytics does not load until you choose “Allow analytics.” If allowed, it may set _ga cookies and receive page paths plus privacy-limited events when a visitor follows a menu, directions, or phone link. We do not send free-form search text, precise location, cannabis orders, payment details, names, emails, or phone numbers to Google Analytics. Advertising storage and advertising personalization remain disabled.

You can decline without losing directory features. Changing the choice to “No thanks” stops new analytics events and removes Google Analytics cookies the page can access.

Location stays on your device

If you choose “Use my location,” the browser supplies coordinates directly to this page so it can calculate straight-line distance. The site does not save those coordinates or send them to Google Analytics or Google Places.

Current Google Maps ratings and reviews

Store cards and profiles may load the Google Maps JavaScript API in your browser to request the current rating, review count, and review content for a reviewed Place ID. The browser key is intentionally public and restricted to approved website origins and the required Google APIs. This site stores the Place IDs used for exact identity matching but does not store the returned rating or review content.

Google Maps content is governed by the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms ↗, the Google Privacy Policy ↗, and Google’s Maps user-generated content policy ↗.

Retailer-link measurement

When analytics is allowed, Google Analytics receives privacy-limited events when a visitor follows a menu, directions, or phone link. Each event identifies the licensed retailer, action type, and page area—not the visitor’s search text, precise location, order, payment details, name, email, or phone number. The guide does not maintain a separate click-tracking database.

Good Feels house promotions

The directory may show one clearly labeled, unpaid promotion from Good Feels after the complete store list. It does not affect store inclusion, order, filters, ratings, or comparison results. For a filled placement, the house-ad service creates a random, short-lived decision ID that binds the approved creative and click destination and prevents duplicate event counting. It records at most one render, viewable impression, click, and error for that decision.

The house-ad service sets no ad cookie and stores no visitor ID, browser fingerprint, precise location, address, search text, checkout details, or person-level advertising profile in its delivery application. Reporting and creative optimization use daily aggregate totals. Following a promotion passes through the house-ad service before reaching the approved destination.

Operational error monitoring

Sentry may receive a limited technical error report when the site fails, even if analytics is declined. This is used only to keep the directory working. Reports do not include stored IP addresses, cookies, authorization headers, search text, precise location, names, emails, phone numbers, orders, or payment details. Session replay, user profiles, and advertising features are disabled.

External websites

Retailers and Google Maps control their own websites, menus, directions, accounts, and privacy practices. Following an external link leaves this guide. Good Feels receives no order or checkout details merely because a visitor follows a retailer link.
